It's a real movie, this winter's competition for Return of the King.
Tom Cruise plays a samurai. And I almost wrote that with a straight face.
I too plan on seeing it as it can't be any worse than Christopher Lambert's Beowulf.

Before you pass judgement, read about the story, its not like he's gonna be Ichiro the (white guy whos supposed to be jap) samurai. I personally think it could be a very good period piece showing how western culture was affecting Japan at the time.
