for me, it's a make or break point of a game
to keep playing an mmo game, the pvp has to be more than ok, it has to rock, and rock hard
because no matter how much they develop the pve part of the game, the questing and missions and all that, people will eventually play thru that and be left with the pvp, and if pvp isn't good, they'll just leave the game and not wait for an expansion

You make a valid point though you don't really find much use for interpunction, do you. Except the comas, I mean.
But seriously, I wouldn't worry, if I were you. The designers have stressed numerous times how seriously they take the PvP feature, and I'm sure they'll give it due attention.
