some person with their name as "runescape" is supposidly selling a level 98 for 8 dollars
he says u need a verified paypal address, which made me think..
i asked him why u need a verified paypal address and he tells me
"my lvl 108 account was put in negative credit by jagex a couple weeks ago to pay off the negative credit , i have to use pay by cash checkout to un-disable my lvl 108 account , im lookin for is for someone to get on my lvl 108 account start a new subscription , and pay off my dept u pay off the dept simply by starting a new member ship , when u use pay by cash one of the options will be pay pal express check out (u need a veriefed pay pal)...the 8 dollars u spend on the member ship will buy you the 98 account i truly dont play my 98 any more just tryna get my 108 un disables and out of negative credit , In case u need to know my lvl 98 has no recoveries .. I prefer to use a real poor moderator middle man in this situation but , if u dont wonna do that'll you'll have to go first.becaues my account has no recoveries. I wont do this my self but my paypal is not verified .. And when an account is in negative credit u can only use pay by cash

i really doubt this is true..i think he just wants to know someones paypal address so he can make money off it by billing it, i could be wrong but i usually arent.
his original post says this
"To buy this account you must have a verified pay pal account private message me if u need to know why. but the account really is 8.00$
If you do not have a verified pay pal u have no chance of buying the account for $8.00 MUST HAVE VERIFIED PAY PAL!!!

It is very fishy, hopfully you get a middle man who knows a lot about Runescape. I tried looking for something that states your paypal needs to be verified but can't find anything, unless to have direct debit via paypal you need to be verified?

He is a scammer. He tried to scam me then accused me of scamming him. The level 108 has recoveries. So does the lvl 98.

good..accusations + suspicion should be enough to ban him?
hopefully when someone scams someone they get their ip banned and not just the screen name..

Yes he can get your paypal address and try to bill you, Without your password for paypal he cant charge you for anything as you need to login to paypal to actually press PAY. He isnt asking to get on your paypal account hes asking you to go on his runescape account and unlock it, he also stating he will use a MM the MM if they know about runescape will be able to tell you if it has recoveries or not, i suggest you read this http://www.realpoor.com/viewtopic.php?t=131028&hpr=NO_PROOF__SUSPENDED , your accusation has no real proof and other people just popping into the forum and saying "he scammed me too" doesnt do anything.
If something seems to good to be true it usually is, but sometimes on an off chance it isnt. To me it sounds like hes in a pickle his main account is in negative credit so he cant play on it, he has another account hes willing to give someone to get his main account unlocked by the person.
*Too any mod who sees this, sorry for posting in an accusation thread again but it irratates me when i see people accusing others with no proof at all, I wont do it again*

You can make posts, but not make accusations.
If you find something odd, post or PM staff. Say it's odd and not a scam and be non-biased when posting. Maturity gets everything done around here, not demands,orders and empty claims.

who would i send pms to if i get scammed or someone seems suspicious?

If you get scammed, post it in the HOS (Hall of Shame) with picture/proof.
If you think someone is suspicious, contact any Admin. Suggest CG because he "specializes" in that area :p.
