Enchantments. Depending on what level you are, I'd suggest one you can afford. If you've an Enchanter friend, you can probably get a crappy one for free. There are a lot of Enchantments. Go to IF/Ogrimmar (depending on faction, obviously) and look for people spamming enchantments. Just don't break your bank if you're 20-50 in levels. You'll be getting weapon upgrades left and right; you'll be getting so many that wasting 4-5g might not be worth it when come your next level you get a new (and much better) weapon. This is if you're not being twinked. Or have a superfluous amount of cash. Anyway... Beastslayer gives you red and +dmg to beasts, +dmg is white and gives all around +dmg. There's also Demonslayer (not too handy at low levels, generally very specific in need), Icy Chill (expensive), Fire Weapon (expensive), and Crusader (really expensive). The last 3 are high level enchants, along with life stealer.

ok i thought any old enchantment would do it so i just got the +3 int and i found out i was wrong . what would be a good one for me to get as a level 40 warlock ?

go for the red glow, that's cheap, free from guildie

i got a 2h staff chant, blue, for 1.75g, then promptly got upgraded on it..so now i have a free red glow

enchantments under lvl 250 are the gimp ones, enchant weapon greater strinking (+4) is the first thick blue enchant. Demonslaying is usually cheap, its the fire effect. Icy enchant is usually around 40g on my server, its the white one. Fiery Enchant, is kinda obvious. On My server the cheapest is the Demonslaying for 4-12g.
