This guy seemed legit at first.

Offered a 70 Gnome Rogue for my steam accout.

Well, he gave me his info first, so I thought it'd be legit.

I sent an email change request to his email and he never accepted.

Then he says that my steam password has changed.

He blames it on me, then starts getting defensive after I call him a scammer and tell him I can get my account back and get his WoW account banned.

So right now he has my steam account, continues to say he cannot get on it, and refuses to change the email address. This has happened to me once before, where someone said they cannot get on the account anymore due to a keylogger or something.. But keyloggers don't act that fast.
Anyway, this is a preliminary assessment. If he turns out to be legit, I'll let you know. But until then, BEWARE! His nickname is Keaton, by the way.

Yeap, he is a scammer.

Changed his WoW account password back after stealing my Steam account.

Please watch out for him or ban him!

--- Also beware of being traded an account named 131ackmage ---

first off all I went out on a lim and give you the info for my WoW account first so you could see that I wasent scamming. you get the info try to change my info to my WoW account, You change it so I ask for the steam account info as soon as I get it it says I am kicked off of steam because it is loged into another PC. then I try to relog into steam and it dosent work I ask him and he says I scammed him. So I called bliz and got my WoW account back and he thinks I scammed him.

Also, an account password can't magically change.

I went on your account and checked that you had a 70, which he does. Then RIGHT after my steam account password changed, I changed the WoW account password.

He continued to say that he didn't change the password. Now that's odd.. If I didn't change it and he didn't either... It was a ghost?

Nope.. Those were two consecutive shots taken when the conversation started.

I'm waiting until our current one is over so I can screenshot the entire thing.

This is getting out of hand...

This Ledzep character is trying to pin me down as the scammer here..

I'm not going to end up like Dazed and have to defend myself from a false charge every hour of the day, so.

I'll just respond to anyone that seems like they deserve it.
Ledzep is currently in conversation with me.. Getting screenshots of the entire conversation.

I think Ledzep is a boy who wants to appear like hes a bad ass without a fear in the world.

I do not think he scammed you. I think you both operated under massive paranoia and it hit the fan and you both ran for the hills recalling and such.

I am sorry for the issue you had, but I really see nothing more than 2 people with a big fear between them.

I hope your able to get your steam account back

Well I'm sorry to dissapoint both of you, but here's the thing:

I did NOT try to reset my steam password until he said that he couldn't log onto the account after I had given him the password.

I have NEVER tried to scam anyone before, because I want to be able to trade for what I want, fairly (If I mispelled that, please correct me.)

Anyways, I didn't operate under massive paranoia. After he had given me his account information, and I had sent an email change request to him, I felt bad that he had nothing yet, so I let him verify that I had the things he was looking for on my account.. Shortly after, though, he changed the password and said that I must've done it, even though I have yet to login.

If you're so sure he didn't scam me, I have a way to tell. But I cannot say it here.

Also, your hope is lost, Complete.. I had NO WAY of getting my account back in the first place, even if I wanted to scam him. The email I used for my steam account belonged to a site that no longer does email. So I can't get my account back..

I hope you can actually see the truth in this, instead of believing that nothing happened here.

And do notice in one of the conversations screenshotted above:

Alex.- : You already took mine.

Keaton: and wait my WoW account isent banned

Keaton: and im not banned from realpoor

Seems a little odd coming from someone who you believe didn't scam me.. I told him I would try to get him banned from both if he scammed me, and he looks very triumphant there.

But oh well, if you honestly and truly believe that nothing's happened here, there's nothing I can do about it.

If I was trying to scam him, don't you'd think I'd have something to show for it right now? And again, the email used on my steam account belonged to a site that no longer supports an email service, so I would have to be a complete moron to try and scam with something I couldn't recover.

See, I have to sit in the middle of the fence. If i get a strong feeling I will act on it, but in cases where the waters too muddy, I just go with what is put forth.

No different that anyone else here would do. Remember what a woman scorned would do

I'm not sure I understand....

Are you saying that it's impossible for you to decide whether or not he's really a scammer..?

Well, that's very dissappointing.

I see a lot of Big talk in those screen shots.

If you see proof of a scam, for god's sake, point it out.

I do not see it. i see the only line you can even TRY to claim was " You do not have any proof". That is not an admission of guilt. You did not post what was said prior as far as I can tell, relating to this even, other than more senseless acts of a p*****g contest above it.

your PUSHING because you said you would get him banned.

So, I reiterate, I see no scam. I see you doing a lot of threats about bans, and "hehe's" and I see him doing the same "hehe's" and saying he wont get banned, which, at this tiem with these screenies, hes not.

Ledzep, I see where you are, I do not see a proxy. You use proxies 1st, not after. Do not be so silly with the next forum you register for if your going to talk big

Oh well, another sort of administration fails to do its job. I WAS scammed, and I'm not backing down from that statement.

Ledzep is more than likely laughing his head off because I've failed at doing what's RIGHT. And I'm sure he'll post a smart ass remark to this post I'm making, but I don't care. This.. situation.. goes to show that even the administration here can't even put pieces to a puzzle together - Of COURSE a scammer isn't going to give himself away , plain as day, when someone tells them they they're screenshotting the entire conversation.

And another thing.. Now know that you've made it possible for a scammer to walk away without any dirt on his shoulders. And here I'm sitting with a stolen Steam account and nothing to show for it but you're lack of giving punishment where it's due.

I suppose now I'll just have to be patient until another person is scammed by Ledzep, and then you'll know that I was right.

Good day to the both of you.

Oh, and CompleteGibberish - Of course you see a lot of "Big talk" in the conversation - I'm but a teenager, and when a teenager is p****d, no matter who they are, they talk big. An unnessesary comment.

And I posted a summary of what was going on, as a PRELIMINARY ASSESMENT. The first post I made was done before I knew I was scammed. If nothing had happened I would've posted something like: "Hooray, he's not a scammer!" But I went on and warned you about him.

I've had this happen to me once before.. So almost right after my steam account password changed and his saying "i cant log on", I posted here.

Good job on letting a scammer run free.

I refuse to post any further on this topic.
