all i have to do is post a link to cos stuff and i can get every thread on the board deleted?
how about i start posting that link on threads that the moderators like...somehow i bet you suddenly will have time to actually moderate as opposed to just hitting the delete button

I admit I'm probably stupid. But that's just a link to a thread on a public message board. It's not secret or anything - anyone can browse to it. I can see if you cut and paste verbatim from a private message board that you could only have gotten to by using a password, yeah that's maybe bad manners. But I seriously doubt anyone could even object to, much less delete, a post for simply including a link to something anyone in the world has a perfect right to see.
Sorry for being dumb; I haven't really been following the EQ stuff much.
Edit: oh, maybe it's just a lame message board, that you can view posts on without being logged in if someone points you to them?
