Looks like its time for me tp change my graphic card so...
I just wonde rif any ATI 9000+ would do to play FF11 or simply to have a good graphic card.
Max I can get here is the 9300, and from the web site I need something that include : Hardware transform and lighting.
So will an ATI do or do I need to get any kind of Geforce? they are hard to find around here.
ANyone able to play FF11 with an ATI?
Thanks.

I have a Radeon 9700 Pro and have no problem playing FFXI with everything on full. (1024 dual channel DDR, and AMD Athalon 2700+ overclocked to 2.0 gHz)

Heh, just for fun I downloaded the FF XI benchmark to see if my poor comp could even run it (1.2 gHz, 100 meg FSB, 512 meg 133 meg SDRAM, 32 meg geforce 2 GTS). It did ok/crappy, getting a low res score of 2089, which just barely gets me into the "2000 to 2499: Even Match PC - We assume that your computer can run FINAL FANTASY XI for Windows enjoyably with the default settings. You should be able to play easily with weather effects on." range. It looked hideous though, like some sort of pointillist nightmare with little plastic dolls.
Strangely, at high res mode, although it slowed down, it looked really nice - like ten times as realistic. Only got a score of 1286 though, which is something like "easy prey"
