I'll be joining your ranks at some point during the week, most likely mon-wed with some random evenings. The problem is my friend is getting more hardcore but luckily he has joined the work force so his evenings cockblock his playtime drastically. I know my buddies like Sel who are playing horde pvp, so I'm planning on making a tauren, but I know Kireol and them are alliance, so which way should I go? Gnome or tauren, decisions decisions :p

ash,
if it's yer first time playing, play a bit of each. Every new character i've made I've enjoyed. I've so far done a rogue, warrior, and mage. each one getting more and more fun. But what i've learned is playing something from each side teaches you different parts of the world and different quests. If you plan on playing release, knowing the world and knowing the quests will make a HUGE difference. Half of your time, and half of the fun is finding out what to do and where to go for quests. sometimes it's half of the frustration too! hahha.
If you go alliance, we'll be more than happy to pimp you out. most of us are 45+ now and not even playing full time. I didnt play at all last weekend.
I'm sure if you go horde, those guys will do the same. If i get bored, I promised Kindom I'd make a horde character too.
Long story short, play a bit of each, play something you think will be fun or want to learn for release.
tips, druids still twink well , haha! but not really necessary. but if someone is a priest or dr00d and can haul you through your first day and say 10-15 lvls, you'll be a few days ahead of where you could be for sure.
I think we have 25 or so memebers now. but lots are alts. mostly we have me, tuuc, ashenor, nonentity, pixel, weasal, oonst, jinu, and kildace that play most every day.

I didn't know so many of you went alliance, I'll definately look into the gnome then. I'll have to browse the classes and see what looks like fun as a gnome though. Warlock sounds interesting, but casters have never really been my cup of tea. I like tanking and doing melee damage like whoa. Healing is all good, but it gets tiresome.

I'd go horde. Ashenor will kick you from the guild for no good reason if you decide to relax and take time off.

it's not a matter of relaxing or taking time off and I can't see Ash doin that, he's so nice  We go way back in Mistmoore getting raped by large quantities of darkies. The fact is, I'd be SHARING an account, so I can only play when my friend is off getting stoned (which is quite often) or at work (mon-wednesday all day), but he goes out in the evenings quite a bit. Tauren druid sounds fun, but Sel, you told me druids are the suck atm! Why didn't you all go horde or alliance last push f*****s?! Oh and my friend has a level 18 gnome warlock, so I guess I can play that occasionally.

I think just about everybody was playing Horde last push. They went Alliance this push, so I followed, because we played Horde last. Now I play other games because it's boring with general fucktards to chat with. Maybe next push I'll start to grind and not get hated on by Ashenor. =)

Oh and if you make a alliance guy just let us know and we will add you to the guild and get you up and rolling.
Like kireol said the game is fun on either side i like alliance a lot more though, just for the feel of the cities and the races.
You will fly through your first 1o levels anyways, the game does a good job of moving you around with the quest system.
I really enjoy the game and i think its a lot of fun.

I'm 34 and even the 30s are going by relatively quick. Me and oonst pwned several quests and horde last night (with a few incidents of getting pwned here and there)

While upset I was, I wasn't trying to attack you in any way. I talked to Repo, he's not an officer, and I talked to Non, who is, and said he didn't boot me. So who else could it have been? I don't have anywhere close to the hours to guys have this push, and I don't know who the officers are. I didn't know I'd have to be worrying about it.

my friend is retarded and lost his passcode so he has to wait until blizzard hopefully resends it to him until I can get the hookups to play  Luckily I only have another month of summer school then I have like an entire month of nothingness while all my friends are back in school -_- I'm going to try out horde first or else Drew will hurt me Tauren druid, I'm going to go for the name Legacy, but it's probably taken.
edit: found out he lost the PW for the downloader for the files, that's all. I was told everyone with a beta account has that so if anyone can hook up the PW and link to get the files, I'd <3 you long time.
