dosent really matter.there are only like 3-4 items that are specific, once you pass them(like 250-270) its no longer a issue.just depends on which of those few items you want.i went goblin the only item i still use even remotely is the dragon gun for aeing.

Originally I was thinking gnome, because gnome has somewhat cooler items. But the gnome stuff is generally items which are made once and then you have them, where the goblin stuff tends to be more expendible (bombs) so you keep needing to make more. So I'd say go goblin so you can sustain yourself and buy what you can't make from a gnome engineer.

Goblin Sapper Charges are stupidly overpowered when used in mass and should be exploited before they're nerfed.

Only item that I find that gets regular use by our guild is the stun hat. I don't know which spec makes this, but it's fun to use on the general's guards in UBRS.

The only item that is worth anything at high level is the Goblin Bomb Dispenser, and even then...
Main problem is that they take up trinket slots, some of them you can't change while you are in combat.
The Arcanite Dragonling is ok as a pet, but they need either to up his hitpoints, raise its duration or lower the cooldown.
The only item that I make that is worth anything are the Thorium shells.
