If I see one more person with a dumb ass name like Sephiloth, Zulander, Asshat, or anything im going to lose it! Someone should call their parents and have little johnnys FFXI subsciption canceled due to being a moron. And whats up with all the guys making girl characters? The japanese are going to lose all respect for us =p

I'm all down with guys playing mithra, it's the female humes and elvaan, and god even taru who are men. It's scary...much more so then EQ...i dunno why.
As for the dumb names, in this instance i think it's not people in their twenties. Final Fantasy has drawn in a much younger crowd through it's name. I've grouped with quite a few that turned out to be 14-15-16 years old.

Sadly, this is true.
I've talked to quite a few people who had charming names like:
Fortyounce
Billdozer
Drunkenirish
Fightingfighter (f****r trained me hardcore)
Meltingpot
Which oddly, 3 out of 5 were in their 20's, or said they were. Maybe it's true, maybe it isn't.

Being a female char gets you places faster  ask evilution, hes a male taru, im female, yet i get groups way faster ^^
anyway after playing eq and daoc with retarded male looking chars(if you can even call em that) i decided for a little change up.

slott has a michael jackson complex and enjoys playing characters that look like small children. Females do get treated WAY better in this game I noticed, just like in EQ.
