Get a pager alarm or one that turns on super bright strobe lights. If they can't see it they can't steal it. Or something that turns on red and blue flashing lights, those attract a lot of attention. People just ignore alarm noises now.

I'm still really p****d about it but it wasn't like a top of the line uber stereo or anything .. just hate that someone had to f*****g jack my stuff It wasn't christmas I would just go out and buy another one but I dropped some decent dough on the fam so thats out... The positive is that it gives me an opportunity to build a Linux powered MP3 player which is something I've wanted to do for awhile anyways..

Whatever you do, do not get the mini-itx Via epia 800. It has the shittiest onboard sound I have ever heard. Actually, forget what I just said. Wanna buy an Via epia 800? Real cheap!

so I got a new deck =)

I highly recommend this deck to anyone looking, incredibly crazy clear sound even on my stock speakers and the security part is hella cool. You create a unique "key" that unlocks the deck if the power is ever lost such as the wires being unplugged or you the battery gets unplugged ect ect. The key though is a CD that you choose, so your key could be say a copy of the Beastie Boys License to Ill or whatever. I'm thinking of making a mix CD of just incredibly random shit and using that. The owners manual says to create something unusual that you wouldn't listen to and then stick it in your sock drawer heh.
