Just bought this new mobo asus P4P800 and running an nvidia fx 5600 ultra on it. Apparently in windows under the nvidia properties, its displaying the bus as AGP (PCI Mode) and what I'm not getting is why that is the case. Checked my BIOs, AGP is primary boot device, even removed PCI VGA IRQ status to none. I did a full registry clean of my nvidia drivers, removed completely reinstalled. still have this f*****g b******t showing in PCI Mode. Is it because the 45.43 drivers are so f****d up or is it my bios (which is most up to date and still had this problem with the factory bios version)

you installed your chipset drivers, right?
Need a lot more information than what you've given. Not familiar at all with the FX line of cards, but I'll try to help. What are your 3dmark2001 se scores? Does it show up as working in windows device manager? p4p800 is compatible with 8x AGP, is there an option to set 1x/2x/4x/8x in the bios?
Run dxdiag and go into the display tab, is AGP Texture Acceleration available?

If I had to guess, I would say that you either haven't installed the latest chipset drivers or you had a problem during their installation (took me 3-4 tries to get them on my p4c800).
If you haven't yet, put the CD that came with your motherboard in and get the intel chipset drivers (or find the latest ones on the internet, depending on how long ago the motherboard came out).
