first I'm on a pocket pc so excuse the spelling. But what the f**k is going on this week? Jesus this shit is confusing. this reminds me of the episode when p***y is talking to Tony as a fish and tells him he is talking to the Feds.

They can do no wrong whenever they bring back Gloria Trillo (Annabella Sciorra). I love her voice.

Me and my GF were just about to turn it off because it was so random and unexpected. I feel bad for anyone who watches the show a bit and saw this episode under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Poor people probably thought they lost their mind and killed themselves.
ANd wtf where did the h****r go when Tony woke up from the dream!?

It went more into just how f****d up Tony's mind is. All these confused ideas he has. Like Annette Benning being the mother of his soon to be son in law... but she married to the crooked cop he killed years ago. And then when they talk about Fin being a slacker... he looks like A.J. to him. Add to that the homage to The Godfather (the gun behind the toilet tank in the bathroom) and annette benning saying things were "Bugsy" were great. And then mixing in Pie O My and having Carmella talk to him like he was her son when he said he wanted to go home. And yeah he was being cheered on by Artie when he was f*****g Artie's wife, but I also recall one episode where they talked about Artie's wife and Tony being an item a long time ago. I'm sure it confused the hell out of anyone who isn't familiar with the show over the last 5 years.
And having Annabella Sciorra ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001711/ ) on there again was awesome. That is one **** woman.
Deadwood was good too, setting up for the last 3 weeks...

I thought the central point was that he misses Carmella badly.

That was one point but not the main one.
The horse was Tony's whores, she was saying that if he wants to come home he can't be f*****g around anymore.
The main point was that he was being asked to kill off the part of himself that wants to be constructive and moral (the coach) since he most likely is going to have to clean house in his own family, which isn't going to be good for anyone.
There are about 25 pages that can be done on dream interpretation on last night but I don't have the energy right now.
Suffice it to say I enjoyed the trip.

Got most of the symbolism except when Tony's teeth kept falling out at the dinner table. That made me go wtf! Gotta love any episode that has Annabella and Annette Beatty in it. ^^

My wife is Italian, and she said they consider it very bad luck to dream about teeth. It actually creeped her out just to see someone dreaming about teeth

This does NOT bode well for the family ... My prediction... Chris is going to be asked to take out Tony B.

I was thinking during the dream that Tony S was going to have to take out Tony B, that that was what the whole thing was leading up to. But now it almost seems too late for that.

If you are familiar with the Sopranos, Tony always manages to outwit his opponents. The preview for next weeks show will be as misleading as always... I expect some kind of switch up or Tony B. being sent away instead of whacked. Phil needed whacked anyways, he was like a mad dog!

his brother Billy died. (or son? I forget how Chris described it, I have it recorded was gonna watch it again tonight when i'm not so tired) . I just meant he was a major p***k and was the one guy I wouldn't have minded getting whacked.

Phil isnt dead .. that is correct.. but his driver is and phil got f****d up and was in the hospital .. no more details were given about Phils condition. Tony B has been known to botch hits in the past, this is nothing new.

Either Tony B. or John has to die. They can't both live.

lol, my thoughts exactly. As my friend and I were watching it, we just assumed the asian h****r drugged Tony to ransack his place. I could have sworn she was going to say "me love you long time sucky sucky 5 dolla" but she didn't

I actually really liked the episode and dream sequence. I think they did a really good job of making it run like dreams really do .. hopping around from one sequence to the next, the teeth falling out.. who hasn't had dreams like that!?
Symbolism was the word for that episode. I have watched it 3 times now and I notice more stuff each time. It was a really well done episode.
