tonight on stromm, the guild Cypher killed RZ. this is a server that has been up like less than 3 months. In that time they were able to get from 1 - 65 , whatever amount of AA's they have, get enough gear, spells, flags and get the guild working well enough to own this encounter.
these guys are good . just goes to show "real skill" > over any amount of gear and AA's.
for all of you that thought ya had to farm VT , ssra and 200+ AA's to be able to get far in PoP . this just goes to show how wrong you were.....

you would just have to have a HARDcore Raid force if you had all the uper end content to yourself non contested you coudl gear up damm fast, with all the patchs sometiems, hitting VT and Ssra clearings 2 or sometimes 3 a week thats 100 bits of loot in a week ( if you cleared VT and SSRA twice each in the same week ) still a pretty Damm big Acomplishment though .

there was another f*****g guild, but all the hardcore m***********s were in cypher. they didnt have to worry about members gearing up and leaving, they had no where else to go, everyone filled their slots with uber shit and they just rolled nonstop - NOT saying that it sint impressive, because it is, just shouldn't be thrown up in tarew marr's face. again on the grand scheme of things big f*****g deal, on a server, YAY U ROCKZORS grats and shit. next topic pls.

Still the fact is that they probably 1-1.5 months leveling and 1.5-2 months gearing up vs. 4 years of that TM has been around. Guild competition means shit when you push hardcore.

mad props to those guys, i can only wish i had the motivation to go from emperor crushbone to killing RZtW in 3 months =)
on that note, if another server pops up and no transfers are allowed, i'd love to see an entire guild recreate on it and see how well they do - that would most assuredly seperate the chaff from the rest.

f**k it took awakened weeks to figure out NToV. Glyphed chain killed us a few times. we left tunare up once or twice after clearing all the trash for hours because she owned us so hard .
going from level one , no AA , noone to PL you or twink ya , just your guild tunic and whatever weapon ya start the game with, all the way to killing RZ three months latter is a accomplishment .
think about how meny times it took ED , TA and numi to own RZ ? they all had badass gear.

It's always easier to do stuff after everyone else has done them.
Everyone has their levels, their AA's, and the strats are all figured out by the guilds who did everything first and had to learn through trial and error.
Add to that a couple of people who have time to commit to it and yeah, it is easy.
Your point?
At least make a valid comparison if you're making one.

What do you expect from a game that is around 4 years old.After awhile people learn this shit and it becomes like second nature.I mean hell they had to play on another server/read about the shit somewhere.
I bet if any of the higher up guilds from TM where to go to another server without transfer the same shit would happen if they were hardcore about it.The guild should be given props for dedication but doing this stuff in the amount of time given how long the game has been out...nope.It is all about dedication on how fast someone wants to move thru the game anymore.

hehe i can't belive people are coming here talkign shit going whoopie, this isn't like startin a lvl one char and buying a fungi, this is getting 50 + people FULLY Geared in 3 months starting wiht rusty swrods not being able to buy spells , or buy wepons, f*****s probly Farmed lammys and Kael for a week Straight, most decent mobs only up every 5-7 days , pop stuff up more, but a bit harder to gear up off that , they must have had a very Hard core crew willing to play long and farm shit and not b***h, gettng 30-50 people HOT / Ntov gear , getting them all emp keys, Getting them all VT shards, Getting a few tanks BoC's 50% of the time half the shit you want dont drop or is rare , doing all the pre flaging with about minimal to No backflaging and , all the 60+ spells you couldn't buy, between all that, still haveing eveyone get 65 + aa ( tanking POP shit with probly minimal AC / hp and under 100 aa is kinda rough ) and learning all the encounters , yeh they had the content to there self, but its not like the mobs droped more loot for them, or droped the nice stuff more often, or spawned Every day,, 3 months to go from killing orcs to getting silver for your new 5 ac no stat tunic to being elemental flaged is Quite impressive

Three months is awsome to get to RZTW and kill him. However, these are experenced gamers. If given the free time, just about everybody here can get a toon to 1-65 quite quickly. By having the knowledge that others didn't have in the first place, the use of EXP bugs(That were removed last patch), and little or no compitition...it's real easy to get this done. I admire the dedication and the time frame the did this, but to blast TM for thaking ...what a year? Pluussese...PoP hasn't been around for 3 years.

So clueless.
Going from level to 65, if you really are into it and are putting the play time an uber guild needs, is a week maximum. From then on getting aa exp should be at about the rate of 20/week, probably up to double that. That would get anyone at around 200 aa exp, more than enough, at the end of the 3 months. Gearing up to be able to kill RZ on a server that has absolutely no competition is 2 months, maximum.
That leaves an extra month in my book.
Now add the spoilers.
Now add the mob nerfs.
Now add the fact that ALL spaws are uncontested.
Are they good? Of course. Exceptionnal? Gimme a break.

I assume this post is directed somewhat as us since we killed RZTW lately 
Regardless of Cypher, we are the 5th guild on one of 40 servers to kill Rallos Zek. We may have puffed chests for the time being, sure, because its an accomplishment, and improvement for us. Impressive or badass to the rest of the EQ community? Doubt it.
Cypher beat RZTW on their second try. We beat it on our fifth, not including half a dozen attempts to spawn him So I guess we suck?
For every guild and player in this server (even ED) there is someone more uber, who can do what you can better, easier with less people and in less time.
Cypher coming this long in short of a time is indeed an accomplishment. Something that I'm sure many people go 'oooh ahhh' about. What SA has done may not have cause the same reaction amongst the EQ community, but it is still an accomplishment for us.
