And now on loading it goes black like it's going to load, then crashes to the desktop

not to mention you can no longer search for map name "karkand". and ping times seem to be about 4X + compared to prepatch servers

I can search for Karkand fine, or any map for that matter. You are correct about the ping times tho, the server browser just isn't showing them correctly for some reason (ie the browser says your pinging 160... but when you join a game its more around 50-60).
Maybe some day DICE will get it correct. Lag on ranked servers seems to be improved a bit tho but the damn Teammate red thing is still there

i type in karkand in map name and hit enter and blank. nothing. take it out, all of em.
how do you show ping in game?

I haven't had any lag in a week. my lag was all due to windows firewall that was auto turned on during one of hte recent XP patches...

I've always had shit lag on ranked servers =\ one of the reasons I choose not to play on them, especially since every unranked server I've played on has been silky smooth ;p

I've never played on anything but ranked servers, and never once had a server lag, aside one time I joined one with a high ping =p

Same with me, but I've only ever played on the Insomnia cluster of them, so maybe it's not saying much. Stick to what works I suppose.

i figured out my problem with the new patch and not being able to search on a mapname is bigger than that.
I just figured out that it'll load the list fine when the game starts up. I tell it to reload or refresh or anything and null set of servers. so i cant search on a mapname or change anything.

Same happens with me, if I try and apply any search filters (map, server, or otherwise) I don't get ANY servers at all in the list, even without filters.
edit: Works fine if I uncheck Ranked tho..

Untick the same version box, voila, filters work! Now to try and play on one..
