The end game in lineage 2 is quite different, and much more serious than that of WoW or other games.

There are a few different aspects. There are HUGE raid bosses, that dont have a particularly lot of strategy (compared to the endgame bosses of WoW, but... they take a LOT of people and a lot of organization. When I talk about a lot of people, we are talking about an alliance with the best chances of having successful raid attempts on the biggest bosses of 50-100 people. Depending on what server you're on you may never hear of some of the largest bosses being downed. If you're on one of the more popular servers, they have a few clans that are able to down bosses such as anthras.

So is there raiding? Yes... on a large and very orginizational level.

Is there PVP? Yeppers.

The pvp in L2 is different than most of the other MMO's I have played because of a few things.

1. Castle Seiges

Castle Seiges are on a very large scale ( a lot like the way that raiding is) During some of the larges seiges, if they are really going at it, you can even expect to see 100-200 members on each side. There is a lot of strategy that is involved with the sieges. Such as where to use gollums, where to attack the castle from, where and when to group, buff.

2. Non-seige pvp

LIke to talk crap to people? L2 is much better for it than WoW. Not only can you talk crap, but you better be able to back it up with your charecter, because you p**s someone off, they're gonna PK you... and PK in a non-war means that you are -4% or 5% depending on your level. That means that you have lost your precious experience, that took you a long time to get (depending on your level, it could be up to a week or more worth of experience).

You just wanna kill someone? you can do that too... but you better be either very good, or expect to lose your stuff... you turn red when you PK someone without them flagging. When you're red, that means... you're looking to drop your hard earned gear!

GL

Hope you have fun, later all!
