Anybody playing Far Cry? Demo is pretty fun and the graphics/AI are amazing.
Personally I just play EQ, and Tetris in the Steel Warrior Arcade . Picked up Diablo II for about 20 minutes, but that game just doesn't do it for me.

I have Far Cry too, best graphics ever. Just haven't had time to get into it much thanks to work and my other gaming addictions.
You can load up all the different maps with the editor, the aircraft carrier one is amazing.

I really enjoyed playing Sacred. Unfortunatley after I finished it on bronze I got bored of doing the same quests/storylines on a harder difficulty. It's too bad to because I would have liked to seen the complete ending.

With this many people playing UT2004, we need to coordinate some onslaught.

I downloaded both Far Cry single player demos today, seems pretty fun, great graphics. How fun is the multiplayer though? Also, how much better are the graphics/gameplay/etc of BF Vietnam than BF '42?

Graphics are better. Water is translucent, and eveyrone has binoculars to spot artillery targets. weapons are far more deadly tho.
You'll see people cry non stop about the m60. Sniper rifles are semiauto as well so you usually never fail to knock someone out if yiou miss first shot

They give you a lot of bullets for the sniper rifle in multiplayer? That snipe rifle is uber, and with all the foliage you can hide in it seems like you could do a lot of damage with it. In the demo level they only give you like 5 bullets for it though.

Good choice. Might I suggest the Suikoden series as well. |
Except for 3. It's mediocre at best. And I hate those ducks so, so, so very much. |
Suikoden was nice, but I think it started going downhill even with the second one.
If you're not gonna be playing FF games then the best series to hit up is the Breath of Fire series. |
Hiss! Suikoden II is one of my alltime favorite games. More story and complex characters, less airship.
That being said, I don't really play games anymore. I'm waiting for a good RPG to come out.

You die, you're screwed. Recently I started playing again and saw that it wasn't really hard at all, but just last night my little dragon meter shit hit 100% and I lost. I was very far away from the 'merchants' with a lot of items and money. There's no f*****g way I'm going back to the beginning of the game, or even the last save point because the meter is still pretty high. f*****g lame. Don't play it.
And UT2k4, Starcraft, maybe some Diablo all on occasions. |
Hehe, reminds me of Dragon Warrior. The last castle is like two squares away, but you have to travel the entire length of the world to get there, running from every battle because you don't want to use up the 8 healing items your bag can hold.
