well, i'm looking to purchase like a computer desk fortress, as i've dubbed it.
basically i'm looking for a computer desk which will be in a
[
shape.
The two corners would be where the primary computer systems would be placed. the two corners and sides would have high backs for storage. the middle part would be open so that the users could watch a TV, which would be placed on the other side of the room.
anyone know where to buy these computer compounds? i'm looking to spend a good su m of money to get what i want for this.
i'm open to suggestions.

r00tiepoo,
In this months CPU - Computer Power User magazine, they had an ad for someplace called Anthro which might have the stuff you are looking for.
Looks like nice, high quality stuff, just need to see if you can get the 'towerz of mediaz' aka. jailtime for life if caught on the end.

My desk is some wal mart particle board pos.
I'm slowly destroying it.
My next desk will be something like you see at a school sturdy and built for 2 computers side by side. with 2 keyboard treys.

i have a peanut desk for my comp and its pretty nice, but the hubbys is awesome enough room for three monitors two are on it atm and fits comfortably.
its not really too wide so it doesnt take up a whole wall... i like that.
let me see if i cant find a pic of it, or one like it.

Am I the only one who sees mocking Padens mastery of the english language as something akin to making fun of a homeless guy because he smells?
Is there any sport in it?
Do people go to the morgue and take a few more shots at the bullet ridden body of some poor old senior who wore gang colours on Drive-by Monday?
Some people, just don't get things the way others do, and it's more sad than anything to mock them for it.
No offence intended Paden, if in anyway this has struck you as such, my apologies.
It was funny once upon a time, now it's abuot as tired as any joke involving the Clinton-Lewinsky dealings.

the cut out area is where your feet go.
its alot bigger then that picture makes it look theres only two comps on my hubbys.
one case on either side and the water cooling system in the middle.
one keyboard, mouse, nostromo on the pull out. one keyboard, mouse pn the desktop one monitor center one on the left (shelf thingy).
its a nice set up and its on wheels so i can move it outta the way to sweep fetch toys that rolled under outta there ect.
its nice and functional and the light wood matches my dinning room table and the black matches the book shelf so it fits in well.
