genious@hotmail.com is trying to sell a account to me since i posted me email addy and wants 100 bucks for a lvl 123 is this the guy that you are talking about the cops have talked to you about?

Any contact through email is not something i would endorse as a "safe" trade.
We promote the use of our PM services and our new rules say No EMAILS or IM names to be included in trades for the safety of the seller/buyer. Adhering to this policy will save you more headache than you need.
