My father needs a new computer for home use. I remember a while back someone linked the site where you could buy prebuilt Dell computers that people had ordered then rejected - basically new comps but already built to someone else's specs - but save a few hundred bucks.
Anyone have the URL or know which section of the website?
Going to check teh website now, but if any of you knows would be helpful.

The link is on the Dell site. Look for Refurbished. I purchased one last month, it is a great deal.
They go REAL fast so if you see a nice machine expect it to be gone in 30 minutes or less.

Incidentially, the 'white box' computers they sell at CompUSA for $400-500 are rejected/refurbished Dells. I'm not supposed to tell anyone though

got the kids a refurb dell last year. It works wonderfully and they love it. We didn't get a monitor with it but it did come with a mouse and keyboard.
final cost was somewhere around $395 with free shipping.
