Get a no-cd crack, either there's a folder on one of the CD's called crack or go to www.gamecopyworld.com and get a crack.

Edit: yeah the cue file is meant to go on the same cd as the corresponding .bin, it acts as a sort of table of contents from what I know, but it will work without it. What you need is just the no-cd crack

From what Ish says ( and now I cant find the damn post ) the .bin is the actual info for the came and the .cue tells the burner how to burn it correctly.. cue stands for cuesheet...

But ya, has to be on the disc I do believe

Last night I DL'ed C&C Generals off of r00tus' server, the two files were named: DEV-CCG1.ISO (624mb) and DEV-CCG2.ISO (675mb).

Could someone please explain what to do next in order to be able to burn it onto a CD and install it?

Pags-

Download ISOBuster. It's free. After you install it, do a FILE > OPEN and open one of those files you downloaded from Rootus. Once you open it, you will see the file structure layed out. Then just extract those files to a folder. Load up your burning software and burn all those files onto the CD.

Question...

the .nfo files says:
1) Unrar with WinRAR.
-did that, extracted each .iso to a diff folder
2) Burn the .cue and .bin with CDRWin or Fireburner.
-there aren't any .cue or .bin files in the folders that I extracted the .iso's to. So, what do I do now?

And is this going to take 2 CD's, or just 1?

There are different types of images of CD's out there. I will attempt to explain them...

.ISO is simply a CD image with nothing fancy in it. Generally used for stuff with no weird sector copies or audio tracks or goofy stuff on the cd. Almost any program in existance will burn this. Nero, WinCDR, Fireburner, CloneCD, etc.

.bin/.cue is another CD image that can have multiple 'tracks' in it. The .BIN file is the file with all the data in it, the .CUE file tells the program that is burning it HOW and WHERE and what the format of the CD is going to look like. Open up the .CUE file in a text editor (notepad) and you can see what the directions are. Nero, WinCDR, Fireburner and a bunch of other programs will burn this to CD for you.

.nrg is a CD image generated by the program called Nero. It is a like a bin/cue but has all the data in one file. Use Nero to burn it back. Download Nero from www.nero.com and goto www.cracks.am, search for Nero, and download a Keygen or serial number for it.

There is also another option for using these CD images, and that is to use a program called Deamon Tools that you can get from http://www.daemon-tools.com/ that allows you to 'mount' a CD image and it pretends like it is in a CD rom drive. (No need to burn it)

I hope this Hepls!!

love,

Frashii 'warez pup' Allegropaw

...

They are text files. Use notepad or wordpad.

XP/2000 assumes they are 'System Info' files and attempts to open them.

another thing too Frashii,

.ISO files tend not to work if they are created and burned with two different programs. I.E. if the ISO was created with CloneCD, CloneCD should be used to burn it. Not always the case that they won't work, it's just a good idea to try and use the same program used to create it.

That is because CloneCD often times as a second file that goes along with it with bad sectors/errors,etc. to help it burn it.

WinISO is a great program for looking inside of .ISO files, making them bootable, etc.
