My roommate has been f*****g with my computer when I'm at work and now all jpgs in web pages don't show up. They either display as the text underneath the pic, a red x, or just a frame.
What the f**k did he do, and how do I get it back?

reset your web settings sir, in the internet options control panel, that's where you'll find what you seek

lol yeah this is one of those bugs that microsoft refuses to fix because they released a service pack, since I don't remember the number we'll call it sp2, anyway they realised they'd forgotten to put the fix in sp2 so they released sp2a but people who'd already patched with sp2 couldn't use sp2a because it said sp2 was already installed and sp2a was sp2 itself with that little extra so anyone who'd installed sp2 was f****d.

btw wtf do you mean by this I saw like 8 kinds of options to reset and I didn't want to reset them all unless it was absolutely neccesary
