lag? wtf I'm on 56k and from NEW ZEALAND and I get virtually no lag at all whatsoever unless it's like 60 people at auction house

Closer as in all traffic is routed from here to the US then to Japan? I don't know how metrics convert to imperial but in the metric system that's still further.

Indeed it does, the only instances of slowness during my play were due to factors outside of the game.

you guys don't get shit ping? I play on Leviathan and get 150-190ping basically all day long and it sucks ass for the most part. This is with a cable modem that brings 20-40ping on most games.

well on ifrit i go from anywhere between 100 to 650 constantly. i dunno why cause no other game ive ever played laggs me. the only thing i got at minimum system requirements is my processor which is still 800 and shouldnt lag this much. i play with the default settlings and all the rest of the stuff down but if another person cast a spell infront of me im going down fast. any help?
