I like Burma, myself. The scenery is beautiful, the kids are cheap and the people are nice. If you stay away from the touristy areas, you can find some great deals on furniture, lodging/food, antiques, etc.

I did Aruba and some other southern caribbean islands on my honeymoon. Was very nice.

I've been a bunch of places in the Caribbean, but I really liked Puerto Rico...not the typical places that most Americans, go, though...
I stayed at Copamarina in the sw corner of the island...it's on the edge of the Guanica dry rain forest...was sooo lovely there...it's a place where Puerto Ricans and other Hispanics vacation, though--we were the only English speaking people there.
The place was plush, the food was excellent, the beaches were magnificent...the downside was the three hour ride from San Juan since the airport near the resort was closed 
We went in January a couple of years ago and it is off-season at that time for Puerto Ricans, so we had the place almost to ourselves. Even so, the service was awesome and the weather was warm and beautiful.
I can't imagine being there in the summer, though..it would have been BEASTLY hot and humid....
