I'm up 900$.
i think i can maybe do this for a nice part time job.
i read in "hold'em excellence" by lou krieger that an important key to playing poker for a living is keeping precise records of your wins and losses. (duh)
so i started in january and figured i'd find out in a month whether or not i had a chance.
i got off to a real bad start and thought i stood no chance. but then things turned right around and i've been doing all right slowly but surely.
so now i'm up 900 after quite a lot of playing. probably comes nowhere close to a good hourly wage yet. but i'm having fun when i play, getting free food and drink, and making friends.
so i'm excited for february to see if things get better. i've learned a *ton* in this last month, so i think it's only going to get better.
woot.

doing good so far. I only play at my work though in Dallas. About 250 people from different home games come there from around the metroplex. Its a great game. The game of choice is NL Tournaments and 1-2 Pot Limit.

Even if it doesn't work out in the long run, being a good poker player must teach some abstract skillz that carry over into business.

awesome p4p.
Mostly I play at Luciano's in tacoma. But last night i was at Hawk's Prarie in Lacey.
sometimes i'll play at freddie's or the muckleshoot.
but luci's is like a mile from my house. so i'm there mostly.
