Want a scammer banned? Follow these rules.

Hello everyone,

Scammers are on the rise, mainly because people are falling for the scams and not being able to do anything about it. You can help stop them, but you need to learn how.

1. If its too good to be true, it probably is.

The rental account scam is in process. This scam involves a 'company' renting your account and paying you for it. This is way too good to be true since if this happened, how would the so-called 'company' get any money? Common sense guys, use it. For more, see number 4.

2. If they don't leave an identity, they are anonymous.

If someone PMs you asking to trade, make sure they post in your trade first, as we cannot trace an IP without the post. Scammers can worm their way back into Realpoor if you don't follow this rule.

3. There are no hacks. There are no sister sites.

There are no such things as RuneScape Player Moderator appications, OR Runescape hacks, first of all, these player moderator applications are always hosted on another site, and it doesn't matter about site design. Any idiot can make a fake RuneScape page using the images and text of RuneScape. Also, there are no hacks for RuneScape either. If there were, there would be a lot of level 138's and 126's around.

4. Chinese gold farmers are always on the lookout for money.

Chinese gold farmers, people who get mass amounts of gold or other currency for games, will steal your accounts via trade. You will know if they are chinese, because of their bad grammar, such as 'interested in u acct' and such. A layout on a PM with AIM and MSN is a big sign also.

5. Are they famous for being a good trader, or a bad trader?

Research their MSN and AIM on google, chances are they have used other trading sites to pull off their scam over and over. If they appear on another site's hall of shame etc., avoid them at all costs.

Take my advice, and never be scammed again.
