Trading Guide for everyone and anyone

ONLINE TRADING GUIDE

So it seems that the game world of warcraft has had a huge impact on the online activites, be it the online trading of accounts, or the buying and selling of world of warcraft accounts. But at the end of the day it all comes down to the basic rule of trust. People are always yelling, and whinning about their accounts being scammed, stolen or hacked. Its at your own risk and responsibility when you decide to trade or sell your accounts through forums such as realpoor.com or markeedragon.com, and not on websites which have been set up for such activities and actions. This article will teach those who are new, and need to learn how to trade, or those whinners and babies, who wont stop whinning about their accounts being scammed.

When it comes to online trading, the basic rule of switching account names, passwords and personal information. But how does someone know that the information he or she is given isnt some giberish made up on the spot. How does someone know that the screen shots taken are no photoshopped and editied to fit the information the trader wants to see.

The way a scam proff trade works is simple. After both traders have checked out the characters ingame and want to trade, both traders need to first change the e-mail to the e-mail requested by one another. How do you know whether the screenshot isnt photoshopped? Well thats simple, simply request for the screenshot of the e-mail sent by blizzard showing the comfermation and the new e-mail. Seeing as the e-mail contains a picture of the the blizzards back ground, with the writing in black, and the new e-mail in blue (hyperlink form), it would take a scammer a much longer time to edit it then to edit the account management page showing just the begining of your e-mail and the stars, this way if he or she takes a long time to reply, and say that its down, you would already know that he or she is planning to scam you as he was editing the screen shot. This way you can be certain that the e-mails have been changed. If you still arent certain there also is another way to check. How? Simply go to the retreive password section of the world of warcraft website, enter the account name, a random secret answer (as you wouldnt know the right one at this stage) and your e-mail, and click ok. IF the error comes up saying that the e-mail you have entered is incorrect then you know that the trader is a scammer, as he has not changed the e-mail to yours. Even if the secret answer is wrong, it will still inform you that the e-mail is right or wrong. If the page comes up and just says that the secret answer is wrong, but doesnt say anything about the e-mail, then you know that the e-mail has been changed to the one you have requested.

Now once the email change has been done, Simply request from one another,, the account name, and secret question, not the password. This way both of you guys simply have to go to the retrieve password page, enter the account name, secret answer, and the new e-mail, after this a new password generated by blizzard will be sent to you inbox. This way the password has been changed to a random one. Onces this is done, go into your inbox copy the password sent by blizzard, the change it to one of your choice.

this is a simply scam proof method of trading, which i have personally used many times, and have made sure that there is not possibility that you would get scammed. Besides the fact that if the person you are trading with is the original owner of the account, he can simply retreive his or hers account, by contacting blizzard. There is no way to prevent this from happening.

IF you guys still are uncertain about being scammed or not. there is also the method of getting a middle man such as my self. The way a middle man works is that both of you guys contact a middle man, (not some random guy you meet, someone who has a good rep, such as a GM of a website or someone who is set specifically for being a middle man) inform him about the trade, and do a 3 way MSN conversation, but however also having a private conversation with him inorder to give your information to the middleman. The middle man will change the e-mails to the new e-mails requested ( For this the middle man requires excess the accounts main page in order to excess the change e-mail section. Ones both of you receive the e-mail from blizzard requesting the confermation for the e-mail change and have comferemed notify the middleman on the 3 way MSN conversation saying you have done so, he will simply check it out, by using 1 of the many ways to do so, as mentioned before, (you can be sure that the e-mail is the one you requested it to be changed to as it was done by the middle man) you guys need only to switch account names and secret answers with the middle man, he will do the retrieve password, this way only he know the secret answer and not the other person, incase he has given a fake secret answer. Ones both of you have gotten the e-mail from blizzard with the new pass to the account, request the rest of the needed information for the middle man, such as the secret answer to the account, full name to the account etc. Yet another simple way to make sure that your trade doesnt go wrong. BUT be sure that the middle man is not some one random, as he could scam both your accounts or be helping one of you guys to scam the other person. If you require a middle man im free durring the weekends, just PM, but i still personally suggest the previous method to trade as it is less time consuming.

If anyone requires more assistence, or information, feel free to contact me by sending me a PM and ill get back to you ASAP
