A scam has been going around, which claims "Runescape 3 beta" is out. Do not fall for this. These websites are fake and are just there to log your account information. These sites look real, after all they follow the Runescape website theme, which can be easily copied from the original site. May I remind everyone to NEVER enter your Runescape login information on any other site except runescape.com. even these fake websites will tell you that >.<

Fake websites usually do not have the java login, but a text login. Also, most links are broken.

Also, please watch out for the P-mod website scam. As the Stronghold of Security will tell you, you are notified of being chosen for player mod status in the email inbox on the Runescape website.

If you recieve an email from staff@jagex.com or something similar, do not be fooled! It looks real, but, how did Jagex get your email address in the first place? And also, what if this is site is leaked to everyone and everyone becomes a player mod? They don't even know your runescape name!

Remember, because of all the immature players of Runescape, you can get hacked pretty easily. Change your password and recoveries often, they are very useful. And remember, only enter your runescape password on runescape.com.
