Recap of Rules - Read before posting

Ok, third article. I am publishing this article since a few posted they were unsure of what our rules are and where to find them. This will be a recap on what our basic rules are and you have ample opportunity to read them before posting, so don't expect staff to go easy on you for being too lazy to spend 10 minutes reading this.
BREACHING THESE RULES CAN RESULT WITH ACCOUNT BAN WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION. THEREFORE WE INSIST TO READ THESE RULES BEFORE YOU START TRADING OR REGISTERING WITH REALPOOR.COM:
Basic Trading Rules
- Posting trades must be in appropriate section e.g. Selling a Runescape account goes into Runescape trading Zone - Sell items. Trades posted in the inappropriate section will be cancelled and users will receive a temporary suspension. Users who post a trade in a non-trade section i.e. General Badass will have an extended suspension.
- Trades must contain no contact information. I cannot stress this enough, we do not want contact information posted outside the Private Messaging system to reduce scamming, it is to help you have safer trades. - Trades should be closed when you have sold it/traded/been scammed. To do this you close the trade when you go to the bottom of your thread and choose the payment in progress. It is recommended you then put a note of the member you traded with, then close the trade again and choose either Sold or Cancelled, as you will gain or lose credits depending on your action.
- You may not advertise your item you have to trade in somebody else's trade. It is deemed unacceptable and will result in the post being edited/deleted and your account suspended.
- Bumping threads is not allowed. It is spam and puts your thread above others from spam and will result in the trade being edited, cancelled and the user suspended.
- Begging for items or accounts will result in account suspension.
- Posting links to other auction sites in trades is not allowed. It is misleading to members and will result in deletion and account suspension.

By utilizing The Trading System, users agree to the following usage conditions:
1) Any information or your activities in Trading System shall not:
(a) be false, inaccurate or misleading;
(b) be fraudulent or involve the sale of counterfeit or stolen items;
(c) involve the misuse of copyrighted material;
(d) be defamatory, trade libelous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing;
(e) be obscene or contain child pornography, including any involving minors;
(f) contain any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs or any other malicious software;
(g) link directly or indirectly to other sites
Breaking these rules will result in posts being edited by staff and your account will be suspended/banned.
GENERAL POSTING
We encourage all members to become part of the community through posting on the forums and starting interesting topics. From this you can gain the supporter rank, which can then lead to becoming part of the Realpoor Staff team. - Flaming or rude language is unacceptable. We want this to be a positive atmosphere and will not tolerate continued abuse towards members. Action will result in deletion of posts and a warning via the PM system, or in more serious cases account termination. This goes double to insulting Realpoor staff.
- Spamming. This is the bane of Realpoor. We have the credit rule system in place to slow down scammers so we can moderate easier and remove them asap. We would greatly appreciate it if you could avoid less than 1 sentence when posting. An example would be "lol that was funny". We will look at it as spam and check your other posts, if you are doing the same in every post to get your credits then you will have your trade cancelled and account suspended.
- Idiotic and immature posts are unacceptable. We would like to think our community has the intelligence to be civil and mature. We wont stand for it and repeated offenders will have their posts deleted and accounts suspended/banned depending on the seriousness of it.
- Threatening, suicide bids and violent and posts against other members will be taken seriously, If you think you are anonymous over the internet, think again. We have access to your IP and can report it to your ISP/local state law enforcement which may result in a police officer turning up at your door. If you think this is bull, please take a look on google about this, a kid in England posted in general chat he was going to kill himself, somebody reported him to a Game Master and Blizzard got in contact with police in his area and they showed up at his door.
- Any post that involves the following will result in a permanent IP ban:
... post content with clear intention to advertise other websites or services.
... post content to advertise own trade topic.
... post content with intention to damage user’s computer.
... post content with intention to jeopardize user’s health or bring life in danger.
... are trying to spam using private messaging system.
... are trying to advertise a external website in the signature space.
... were proved as scammers.
... insult or jeopardize the existence of RealPoor.
SCAMMING
This is where we really need your help on this one. We cannot stop every scammer and we greatly appreciate you to do the following if you get scammed:
THE VICTIM
- Close your trade and say you were scammed
- Create a thread in the Hall of Shame and provide evidence that you were scammed. This may be screenshots of instant messenger conversations, Paypal/other payment system profiles of someone retracting payment or any other form of scam. If the information reveals personal details please send it via Private Messaging system to an Administrator.
- You may also use the "report unfair trade" system by clicking on the user who scammed you in your trade topic. This will send an e-mail to the Realpoor staff. Be sure to include the scammers name, and all relevant information stated above.
- We will do our best to investigate every report and take the appropriate action. Please be patient, we understand you will be frustrated. If you used Paypal, please send a dispute to them about the person who scammed you and be sure to not say it was a virtual item, the laws are still slacked on this and it will weaken your case.

THE SCAMMER
- We will investigate every report thoroughly. Please dont be naive and think you can get away with it.
- If you are found to be guilty of scamming, your account and IP will be banned.
- If you are unlawfully accused of scamming and the accuser has little or no evidence please report the user to Realpoor staff and we will take appropriate action. Please be aware you may still be investigated at the staff's discretion.
