Hello everyone.

This is a quick announcement, there has been a massive wave of chinese scammers hitting us again. Before you think they are the slightest bit okay, remember that they are the people who brung RWT to gaming and (almost) killed RuneScape throughout. So, they like to scam you out of your account.

Please stay away from any people who advertise alternate gold farming/trading sites, these guys are certainly to be chinese scammers.

Do not add anyone who starts their PMs with "Interested in u acct" or similar. Chinese scammers have done this numerous times since they lack in grammar.

Do not panic about trading. Only trade with people who post on the boards and not just PM you, or we cannot trace them.

Make sure the traders are LEGIT. Unless they have trading experience, leave them alone.

A lot of people who aren't scammers have bad grammar.

Too many people think that they save so much time writing "u" instead of "you" and stuff like that and make them look less trustworthy just from that.

Watch when your trading if receiving any pm's similar to those boxed in the screenshot

Hey, i've been getting PMed a lot by these scammers as well.

if you get a fishy PM, check their profile.
usually they created the account very recently, and they have zero posts.
OR
they are buying accounts left and right, and make bids on everything.

always test their english, thats the best way.
