Dear RealPoor members, there are some misuses of Trading System and Forum in general I've noticed lately.
Problem 1: Wrong placed topics
Be sure to take following steps to avoid any misuse and consequences that could be result of such misuse.
* If you have account to sell be sure to place your topic in Sell category. This category is designed for selling your accounts and items for real money. Not for exchange for other game items or game money.
* If you want to exchange your account or some item for other account, item or for some game money, place your offer in Exchange forum, not in Sell or Buy forum.
* If you want to buy (for real money) accounts, items, game currency, place your bid in Buy section, not in Sell or Exchange forums.
* If you want to Buy/Sell/Exchange items and accounts for Runescape, place your bids in Runescape Trading Zone in appropriate forum.
* If you want to Buy/Sell/Exchange items and accounts for World of Warcraft place your bids in World of Warcraft Trading Zone in appropriate forum.
* If you want to Buy/Sell/Exchange items and accounts for other MMORPGs place your bids in General Trading Zone in appropriate forum.
* Do not place trading offers for one game in another's game forum.
* Do not post your trading offers in other forums than trading forums (General, Gaming, etc.)
* Especially do not post Runescape Trading offers in Runescape gaming forum.
All wrong placed topics will be deleted without warning!
Problem 2: "Unfinished" trades
When the trade is finished, majority of members don't close it or left the trade with In Progress status. Also, majority close the trade with Canceled status and by doing that, members lose their trading points.
Be sure that, when you traded successfully, first close trade with In Progress status and when you received the money or other trading currency, close it again with Sold status or Canceled if you didn't receive payment, you've been scammed, etc.
Solution: Carrot or Stick?
These are steps that we will take for offenses and misuses of Trading System and Forum in general (some of them we already take):
* Scam suspicion - Action: Trades/Posts deleted - Permanent account/IP ban
* Scam/Bad trade notification - Action: Investigation/Possible account ban
* Scam accusation - Action: Investigation/Possible account ban
* SPAM - Action: Trades/Posts deleted - account/IP ban
* Posting in irregular section (for example exchange trade in sell and/or vice versa - Action: Trades/Posts deleted and possible account ban
* Vulgar or obscene language in any post - Action: Trades/Posts deleted, and account suspension
* Posting advertising or malicious links in trading posts - Action: Trades/Posts deleted - Permanent account/IP ban
* Posting 'Runescape Hack' posts, topics or trades - Action: Trades/Posts deleted - Permanent account/IP ban
* Posting emails or IM's in trading posts - Action: Trades/Posts deleted and repeated action can produce account suspension
* Irrelevant trolling posts - Action: Trades/Posts deleted and repeated action can produce account suspension
* Posting annoying titles (for example >>>>>>>Sellin Runscape account!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or OMG OMG OMG Look here!!!!!!!!) - Action: Trades/Posts deleted and repeated action can produce account suspension
* Posting "begging" topics for free accounts ("need free account please") - Action: Trades/Posts deleted and repeated action can produce account suspension
* Posting non-real money prices or skyhigh amounts - Action: Trades/Posts deleted and repeated action can produce account suspension
* Closing trades as sold without any public bids or replies - Action: Trades/Posts deleted or closed as CANCELED
* Bump attempts or trolling post bumping - Action: Trades/Posts deleted or closed as CANCELED
* Any other trading or registration rule breach - Action: Permanent account/IP ban or account suspension
