Must READ before doing a trade.

We will no longer be using MSn/AIM/Emails, etc, as any proof or grounds for an accusation.
We do not have the ability to police or verify any actions done on or through those services so we will no longer be assisting in any issues involving them.
You do not use the Realpoor PM service, your choice.
You get scammed because you used MSN or AIM..too bad.
This clear enough ?
Any questions ?
------
Do all trades in the PM system, you can use instant messengers for quick talkquestions but all trades must be under the RealPoor PM SYSTEM if you want safer trading + have proof just in case it could be a scammer.
I've seen couple people so far post MSN proof that didn't know about this new rule. People can turn into scammers, I have seen lots of people build rep and go down, the lastest scam was 40M to change a person with 600 posts and multiple vouches...yeah it does not mean more vouches and posts = 100% They usually wait until the best opportinity.
You can use instant messengers to trade at your own risk, just don't complain after reading this.

I can see the grounds for this new rule, but as far as I'm concerned, I prefer MSN. True it may not be as safe, but there is a terrible delay in the time it takes to send and receive messages on here. It just seems to me that it would be somewhat easier to scam on here and say "Well I sent the password in a P.M.- guess it never went through." or for them to actually send the message and it not go through. Stuff happens, and as long as we're breaking JaGex rules, there is no way to avoid being scammed. If you want a safe trade, don't trade. It's that simple. Edit: I saw this on the home page. I did not realize it was for Guild Wars. I'm not sure of their rules, but I'm sure it's not allowed to trade.--- As long as you are breaking Guild Wars rules, there is no safe trade |
It takes no delay at all. Yes you can talk over msn but I recommend doing trades over there like sending the user\pass etc and saying how he recieved it. Even so if he has not received it and it got hacked its obvious and action will be taken on him. Same goes with msn, nothing different but instant talk. Its also on the person, a scammer on RealPoor can be a scammer on msn too, does not make difference at all.
Edit: I saw this on the home page. I did not realize it was for Guild Wars. I'm not sure of their rules, but I'm sure it's not allowed to trade.---
As long as you are breaking Guild Wars rules, there is no safe trade
