Your account may have been compromised using a Key Logger or Trojan virus which can be used to obtain the account name and password of World of Warcraft accounts used on that computer. We therefore need to verify that your computer is secure before asking you to confirm the account’s ownership.
Please make sure that you are using the most current routines for your anti-virus software.

Looks genuine, right?
Wrong.
Click the link for account verification link, and then DON'T DO ANYTHING, but look at the address bar. Hmm, not WoW, is it? Nevertheless I don't even play WoW.
Hello realpoor, I wanted to post this before however I didnt have much time and this may not be the right place to post this, but I could not make an article.
So a couple days ago, I was playing my warrior when I suddenly got dc and when i try to log, It said that this account is no longer available for play. so I checked my email and saw that my account got susspended and 10 secounds later i got another email for my other account, 10 more secounds my other account, so after one minute all 6 of my accounts got susspended. and this was not just me many of the people i traded with before faced the same problem.
This is just mostly down to luck, everyone now and then blizzard would check all the accounts that emails have been changed on, and they also check the IP pattern to see if its changed, they then randomly ban accounts, unfortunate for me, all my accounts were affected.
As we all know trading is never safe, however blizzard will get more nasty and this will not stop.
The only way to avoid this is to trasnfer what ever your trading with to a new account, which you make so it starts off with your IP and there wont be any changes to it.
As you can see I got 4 emails for 4 accounts, talk about a bad day ey.
The secound topic i'd like to bring up is, As we all know the new exansion is around the corner, and the beta is also out, and the opt-in is also available in the account managment, which gives great oppurtunities for scammers.
couple days ago i got a email, and i went along with it with a susspended account ;D, they can have fun with it. it is from noreply@blizzard.com.
However dont fall for it, still a scam, an email from blizzard would include the key and wont require you to sign up again, you did that from your account managment.
Quated from the blizzard official site, im sure you all are aware of it, doest hurt to make sure.
