Ways and methods of safe payments...

PayPal
Western Union
Mail
Runescape Bounty Hunter RSGP Transfer

When doing a trade, get them to PM you their email address through RealPoor only. Get the buyer to post on your thread that their buying it. Now that you have proof incase they scam. Before all this you should research on the person, a person with a high post count ranked or even has vouches doesn't make a difference, it doesn't change who the person is...GREED will change people. I'm pretty sure anyone would do anything for unbelievable amount, from $5-$1M+ ingame or real life cash.

PayPal

~Bank funds
~Balance funds
~Credit card funds not safe at all

Bank and balance funds would be the safest. These payments are only safe if they are claim&canceled. *Reminder - do not claim&cancel too much, have it 10 or under. I would recommend having multiple PayPal accounts or friends to accept them but not on same IP and withdraw*

Post this in your thread.

I will not accept Credit Card funded payments in Paypal. If your Paypal account is directly funded by yours/your parents credit card then do not bother contacting me. If you do send me money using Credit Card, I am not responsible for it and its up to you to get it back [I will not send it back] However, if your Paypal is funded by a Bank, I will do trade with you. You are expected to, and must "Claim and Cancel" in order to trade with me. I reserve the right to refuse to sell to any buyer i am suspicious of, or cancel the sale at any time during it for my own safety.

How to avoid getting paid by creditcards

Your PayPal account should be a Personal account, BusinessPremier accounts accept creditcards. To catch the person who paid with a creditcard is by finding out if theres a transaction fee, if so its their responsibility to get it back. The second way of catching the person is by checking if they are ineligible, if so they are not verified and not funded by a creditcard. Once they sent you the payment and you find out its creditcard funded, simply refund it or let them claim&cancel, sending the money back they can easily chargeback having your money and theirs, but who saids you can't chargeback yourself? PayPal to PayPal is free meaning balance funds.

How to avoid getting paid by stolen PayPal accounts

Now this is annoying from the Chinese scammers, especially on sites. Easy way to verify is simply look at their address once they have sent the payment, use that address to find out the phone number at the YellowPages. I wouldn't recommend doing trades from people with PO Boxes. Theres also another way, their email address, they might have different PayPal address with their email address so to verifiy this is send an email to the PayPal address and get them to confirm it.

How to Claim&Cancel

Creditcard funds can't be chargebacked unless they call their company, I wouldn't recommend taking creditcard funds period.

Pictures are not by me.

Western Union

Western Union would be the safest from all payments. Instant and non reversable. Theres always a local Western Union agent around you, to locate get on www.WesternUnion.com. Just takes 5 minutes to fill out the form *Reminder - add a question and answer, the person receiving won't need ID, they do not take Health Cards*. The person sending the payment will have to give out their address, name, special number, phone number I believe, amount of $$$, and question&answer, the person recieving will just have to write that down their their address and name.

Mail

Safe payment as well just days until you recieve it depending where you live.
