Tried getting on BF2 at around 3:30 today, and when I click "login", the game seems to be trying to connect to account server, but stays there doing nothing, forever. ctrl alt del shows that it's not responding. Happened 3 tries in a row so I just reinstalled everything.
It's still doing it! Program stops responding whenever trying to connect to account server, anyone else have the same trouble?

It's working now...
About 10 minutes after i reinstalled it just miraculously started working again.
I heard someone in game saying they couldn't connect earlier either.
ALSO, I noticed the weapon unlocks are back to correct setting, so I don't know if that was something EA was doing or what.......
