Cool - can't wait until traditionally tiny flash files (23kB for instance) are bloated to 750 megs for a simple "HELLO WORLD."

Adobe tells you, "What? What's the big deal? Don't you have broadband? Who cares if web site banners are 2 gigs each?"

yea pay 6g for something you could do for free...

but I do hear it works better on Windows than UNIX...

Worked on a fault with them on their product and there answer was to upgrade to MX...then found the same flaw on MX and they said wait till the maintance patch was out.....it was finally fixed 6 months later. with the loss of function as well...

6g? Um, no.

And I'm not going to get into a functionality debate. To each his own, some people like doing shit the hard way.

yea they have some cool stuff no doubt... Its not features I didn't like it was server stability on UNIX that I hated... There were some problems in the way the introduced it with functionality that it was suppose to do but didn't. In MX7 they finally fixed everything that mx and 6.1 was suppose to do.

But on some of the servers where we had to buy 8 licenses per server compared to the old way gets to be way to much and performance was a problem... It would take coldfusion way to long to load the java cores for every site...

Single instances worked fine. But can cause security issues with multiple sites.

We are just looking at it from different angles is all...

So it would seem. From a developer point of view, I <3 it much.

Seems like your issues were serving it, and on UNIX yea... never done it, always used microshit.

ROFL @ CF ....

Of course since I'm in love with C# I'd have to go the .net or Mono route. Razz
