I just sold a WoW account via this site for 100.00.
We had a long IM conversation (unfortunately didn't get to save it, was at work). And, I even spoke with him on the phone.
we agreed that he would pay 90 up front, and the other 10 after I gave him the security questions.
Well, after that day I never seen him log back onto IM.. 2 weeks later I go to buy some pc parts with my paypal balance, only to find its in the negative and on hold, because paypal is investigating.
All i have gotten back in response from Ackson who is apparently "Michael Ho" according to paypal. is that he is too busy, and he doesn't have time for this "online stuff". He claimed he was out money too as they froze his account as well. It looks like he did a chargeback on the transaction, and was just using it as a ploy to scam me. He came back just a few days ago and said "I'm only 15". I talked to the guy on the phone, and he def. didn't sound 15.
My account is unfrozen now, but the money he paid me has been reversed back to him, and I have no account. I'm doubting he even replies to my emails, because this looks indeed like I have been scammed. If he doesn't pay the money back, what can I do to at least keep him from reselling or using the account? Anyone else did business with this guy? He showed me some positive ratings on this site, so I thought he was legit

just keep calling paypal until they do something about it..recover your WoW account thru the fone..hopefully u didnt tell him your secret answer..
or tell them u have a virus or something and it got your secret question and email password

this ackson guy was tryin to buy something off me... he seemed kinda shady and this post gave me a tipoff not to even bother dealing with him. mods watch this guy.

he was on AIM last night and this morning..
he ignored all my im's and hasn't responded to my emails..
time to call blizzard and have the account nixed.

You ladies and your paypal stories.
it has been stated how to avoid charge backs, here, by a paypal rep, for virtual goods. Anyone who didn't read it really has no leg to stand on.
