He also suggested that if Kerry is elected, our economy will go to shit.

Dunn's Automated Judicial System
(c) Jason Dunn 2004

1. translate all laws into source code. open source of course.
2. when a legal question arises, convert the human-language question into one the machine can understand.
3. stop allowing drunks and criminals such as our current politicians to rule the world - let programmers take over.
4. the end!

I thought it was 2.6 million! I'm so confused!*

*Household payroll survey says 2 million jobs were CREATED under Bush.

Btw...Do I need to point out the liberal media again? Surely there is no bias when they choose numbers that hurt Bush and ignore contradicting numbers that help him!

No, he suggested cutting social security so that our national treasury doesn't f*****g go bankrupt. With social security benefits as they are now, 77 million people would deplete the social security fund much faster than it could be replenished.

The loss of manufacturing jobs began 6 months before Bush took office stopped roughly 10 months after his tax cuts, (grand total of 34 months)and have been steadily on the rise. Go take a few courses in economics and I'll be happy to discuss this, until then, please feel free to continue your banter.

Economic changes don't happen over night. The fact that the recession (loss of jobs) began during the Clinton administration just isn't widely reported by the liberal media.

i know its hard for you to do math but lets try it together ....

4.2 million jobs lost minus the 2 million jobs created leaves us with how many total jobs lost ? come on . i know you can do it . is it the liberal media that stole your leet math skills from you?

You are an idiot. There is no 4.2 million lost, 2 million created or whatever crap you're spewing. There are two surveys. One polls employers and the other polls employees. The employer survey is less favorable because big business has been slow to hire, and that survey largely ignores small businesses. The Payroll survey polls employees, i.e. people who actually have a job, and that is where the official unemployment rate comes from. The NET change in jobs according to the household (employee) survey is +2,000,000. That's including job losses. The NET change in jobs according to the employer survey is -2,600,000. That's including job gains. The press has seized on the other survey because it is less favorable of Bush. That's why the employment rate declines while liberals continue to state that unemployment is actually rising. The press has seized on the other survey because it is less favorable of Bush. Tool.

Deficite is measured as a percentage of GDP. So it is not the largest.

hey man it is the american way. when you run out of money and you want something you use your visa right ? and when the visa gets maxxed out you use the dinners club card and when they are both maxxed you pay the minimum balance due by charging it to the master card.

so when you are downing debt . owe more money than you have every owed before since the beginning of time. Bush knows what the smart move is . make the biggest cuts to your main source of income in ten years …. And make a large portion of the cuts to the people who have the most money.

Bush knows whats up ......

You f*****g retard, the tax cuts were for more middle income people than large income. You're just too much of an idiot to actually go look. I make 60+ a year and get back about 1500 if I'm lucky. My ex makes 35 a year, has 2 kids and lives single. She gets around 4-5 grand back because of kids and whatnot tax breaks. So f**k your math.

Cut welfare. Those people are all drug addicts anyway.

People have been feeding into social security their whole lives, it's not their fault the f*****g reasury was poorly managed.

Cut spending in other places.

He never suggested cutting Social Security. He said something must be done with it, otherwise it will inevitably go bankrupt. He actually specifically said NOT to cut it because people have planned financially to have social security available to them when they retire.

Wrong!

Quote:
The National Bureau's Business Cycle Dating Committee maintains a chronology of the U.S. business cycle. The chronology identifies the dates of peaks and troughs that frame economic recession or expansion. The period from a peak to a trough is a recession and the period from a trough to a peak is an expansion. According to the chronology, the most recent peak occurred in March 2001, ending a record-long expansion that began in 1991. The most recent trough occurred in November 2001, inaugurating an expansion.

Quote:
Employment reached a peak in February 2001 and declined through July 2002. It rose slightly through November, but with the exception of January 2003, declined throughout 2003 until it rose in September, the most recent reported month. It is now 484,000 below the start of the year, and 2.7 million below the February 2001 peak. The fact that employment continued to decline while output-based measures rose reflects the fact that productivity has risen substantially since late 2001.

Source: Business Cycle Dating Committee, October 21, 2003. National Bureau of Economic Research. (Not particularly known for it's liberal slant.)

Facts not opinion.
