If someone decides to buy my WoW account I have no idea what the steps are to change my information to his. I am the original owner and have all of the information.
This is what I THINK it is..
1) I get payment
2) I change my payment method to his
3) I give him my email and secret answer
4) He changes email and secret answer to his.
I'm sure this isnt the correct way. Can someone enlighten me?
Thanks in advance.

Honestly... There is no real way to sell accounts. The seller will always be able to take there account back. I have bought two accounts and all they had to do was contact blizzard and tell them they were unable to log into there account.
What I ask for when I buy an account is...
CD Key
Picture ID from Seller
First, Middle and Last Name
Original Phone number/email that activiated the account
These are the only items that could actually protect the person that is buying from losing hundreds of dollars.

Won't protect them.
It will compromise the account to the point it will be banned.

So as a seller there is no way I can protect myself and the buyer, its either or?
If i protect myself I get paid in a way that can't be reversed Ie not Paypal
For my buyer he has no way to guarantee I don't retake the account (unless he transfers the characters off the account I guess) but with 3 or 4 characters to move that wouldn't be a great option.
I can ask the guy to trust me and provide some sort of proof of identity but with identity theft and other worries that couldbe dodgy.
I am worried about selling my wow account and would really like some safe way to do so, is the middleman process 100% safe? is it available for WOW accounts?
Thanks
