I need f****n tormax faction, stupid dirf head has been in my bank for 6+ months. We, of course, don't kill dain anymore sooooo, is there anyone out there still farming his little lame ass?
OR, anyone farming any mobs in icewall that give +tormax (are there any?) and want some extra dps along?
Or Yelinak too, I'll help whack that freak. I just need tormax faction! Give me a PM if you're doing these with any regularity and let me know if I could tag along a few of the times. I'll even help scout when the mobs are up/due. Basically, I'm desperate.
I'll even go so far as donate 10k pp to guild banks for each dain/yeli hit I get. It would mean I don't get to eat the good food until I can scrounge some food money up but s***w it. I just want this stupid thing over and done with.

kill tons of dwarfs then turn in heads to the recruiter to get on rif/zek faction to walk around then turn heads into capt bevellos for tormax faction. You can do that in like 2 nights of dwarf killings so its faster than waiting on spawns and stuff.

Yeah, I'm ally with zek due to killing for and buying coldain heads. In fact, I've been ally with zeks for a LONG TIME w/those heads and haven't had riff/tormax faction budge at all. Looked up old info regarding the bvellos turn in and each coldain head turned into him resulted in a single point of tormax faction. Now, that would roughly require me to turn in approx 950 heads or so to get where I need to be with tormax faction. I think they'd turn off the servers on me before I ever got to that point.

Did something change? I got ally Tormax when Velious came out by turning in about 50 heads to Bvellos after dubious, iirc. Can't really remember.

but after killing shit loads of giants in kael i got ally to dragons

It's been a long time but I think handing Bvellos icepaw paws and scalps had decent size tormax hits.

I've got a lot of hits from turning heads into Bvellos already, a /lot/ but I'll try another hundred or so and see if that makes a difference. Danke.

For the Belt you only need to have amiable to Tormax to turn in the Dain head. To make sure just hail him and be sure he gives the quest. I was at amiable cast collaboration on him got to warmly then did it just to be sure. But he did give the quest to me at amiable.
Best way for faction is going to be the heads. If you just take a spawn in EW (if i remember correctly) you can get tons of them in no time

The Royal Guards in ThurgB have Tormax hits so you can get even if no bosses up. I think Lockhart still drops the 4 charge Alliance neck too - that give you another 100 faction points if you picked one up.

Took me 128 heads and 92 paws to go from scowls to amiable with tormax. I was able to farm all the heads and only dropped my thurg faction to amiable from ally. It was a long time ago but I still remember the numbers hehe. Dain or Yelinak would probably be kind of a crap shoot because they're like 3-group mobs now and probably 20 guilds can kill them. I don't know if people even bother with them on patch day.
