I went to a f*****g thread, and someone had posted a porno pic. I dont have a problem with that... when im at home.. But the picture was saved in my temp internet files when I was checking out the post AT WORK.
So our IT specialist (who happenes to be my manager and is the only one who is able to access the files) came to me and told me that its not an appropriate place or time to be looking up pornographic pictures.
btw, im not checking the replys b/c I f*****g know most of you f*****s are going to reply with a porn pic...

Yes it would. He is at work and they can see what you see at any time. They have the pics on their Server even if you deleted them off your PC. The man can and will take you down for pr0n at work.

I have my users locked down so they cannot clear the temp cache, I also use a caching proxy server, and Internet explorer has had the IEAK run to lock down the broswer settings.
Coupled with the lack of 'persistant TCP connects (kthx no tunneling), and forced use of caching on port 80, 443 8080 and such.
To catch the idiots using web based email, I run Snort with the 'Bleeding Edge' rules running to catch other crap that my Nazism didn't.
Oh, I also run trafshow, tcpdump and such in real time and occasioanlly look at that screen.

Its only a temp job until I find out what i want to do with my life. Its full-time job, $11.50/h. Im a 'Health Service Representative' ... Basically im a secretary for a after hours nurse triage for costomers of docters when the office is close. We cover about 200 Dr. offices and hospitals across the US.
So the next time you phone your docter's office after hours, and someone says, 'Hi, my name is Mark, Im a health Service Representative, can i have your name please?' That would be me.
