Aparantly it's like the best player on the market for playing computer based files. I got it so I could watch all of my computer video's fairly easy. Hope it works well, this will make my life much easier than having to move my comp into the other room and hook it up to the TV, 'cause then the sound is never quite right using the normal TV's system, so I have to bring my comp speakers into that room and...
Anyway, yeah. I'm pretty excited about this thing. Any of you have any experience with it?
Here's some more info from the makers:

now that looks frigging awesome! i didn't know there were any standalone players that play Xvid format..what program would you need to burn xvid videos that the player would recognise? OR does it just support cd avi's with that codec?
IF so thats amazing.. the HDTV LOL-BT Tv rips out there of shows are beautiful and almost dvd quality and only take 400mb's
IF i could use them to burn 10 episodes of show to dvd-r and play on this that would kick ass

I'll let you know if it plays .avi's and .mpeg's and all sorts of shit when it comes in. I've got a ton of CD's that I've burned over these past 2 or so years due to not having storage room on my HD. I'll figure out what it can play and what it can't, np ^
EDIT: Then if you all want, you can all take turns sending me shit you'd like me to burn onto CD (not DVD... don't have a DVD burner) to test if it works.
Then you'll know if a new DVD player is in your future also!

The player sounds awesome, looking forward to know how well it works.
I think buying it on ebay like that would freak me out though, all that guy sells is jewelery, then this random dvd player mixed in.
Not even listed with the same mass listing program (ebay turbo lister) as all of his other auctions...
Let us know when it comes in, if you get it i might snag one. It shows him as having like 200 left.
