This game requires a lot of time and Patience. This guide will show you how to make gp, Get started in the game, and have loads of fun. This will also help Pkers, on how to become a great killer in runescape!
Runescape the massive online adventure game created by Jagex Ltd, Has many tricks in skills as will you will need to know in order to succeed! First skill is fishing!
FISHING!
This skill is very boring to some, but it can require some good gp. Okay, go to varrock, train your fishing level all the way to around 25. Now, Home teleport to Lumbrige, You will now be able to fish in Lumbrige! You will catch trouts, sardine, and many more little creatures. [/color]
Train to 40 fishing, Now go to Port Salim, go on a boat, And a town named Karamja On the one that's costs 30 gp to use. You’ll will need some of this gp to come back and forth to banks to unload your fish. Okay You can now fish Lobster! These are around 250 gp each. Fish them until your inventory is 100% full. Go back onto the boat and return to Port Salim. Walk or Run, to Falador, Bank your lobster and go back to Karamja.
Once you have reached 55 fishing, you can now fish Swordfish! These sell around 400 gp each, and you can retrieve them at Karamja Like lobster.
Once you have got 77 fishing, Buy membership, and head off to fishing guild. You will get around 920 gp each shark. These will help a lot.
WOODCUTTING!
This skill is also very hard, but it’s a little less profitable then fishing. Buy a regular axe, go to varrock, Or any town, there are a lot of trees in Runescape.
Save you logs, once you achieve 15 woodcutting, Head off to Varrock and cut Oak trees.
Oaks are around 50-100 gp, so you make a better profit! Once you have achieved 30 woodcutting, go back to Lumbrige, and start woodcutting willows.
Once you have gotten 60 woodcutting, go to varrock, by the wilderness, by the church, you will find a Yew tree. Cut these logs, you will make 200-400 gp. (They go up a lot and drop )
These are the main ways you can make money, Another is called merching! [/color]
MERCHANTING!
Merching Requires patience and gp. If you are a free player, Then have around 1 million gp. Buy rune scimitars for 31k-35k. You want to buy them mid-price in the Grand Exchange.
Once you have bought them, Wait a day, you can check the Grand exchange database on Runescapes main site.
Okay, You are risking your money, they might go up gp, they might go down, therefore you lose gp.
Once they have gone up, sell them for mid-price, since they went up, you will make a 70k-80k profit!

Okay, Another way is Pking, Also known as “Player Killing”. You have some options, make a main account, or start a pure!
For a main
Train your skills to 90 strength. You can start at goblins, still 20 strength, then go to monks in edgeville.
Train these till 50 strength. Now, buy some membership, and head off to rock crabs.
They may be boring and time consuming but it’s worth it!
Train these till 75+ strength. Now, train defense to 50-60, go to ankous!
These are a very good way to train your skills on them. Within a month you should have 90+ str
Start working on attack, train it to 70, then you can use a whip. Quick kills!
Now it’s time for PKING! Buy rune armor, pots, food, and some whips. Start in Player vs player area, you will make some good cash, and have loads of fun!
PURES!
Pures are hard to make.
The number one thing to remember when making a pure.
ALWAYS KEEP IT AT 1 DEFENSE!
Very Important for your pure. This way you can kill in PVP at a lower level.
Okay for range/str/mage
Start at goblins, train till 20 , Now head off to monks again. Train, Now it’s time for rock crabs IF your a strength pure. Keep training till 70+ str.
If you want to be a g mauler, Work on guards till 50 attack. You should be level 58 at the most. Now your ready for the maul! Buy monk fish, str pots and attack pots, some g mauls. Have fun PKING! [/color]
Mage pure
Train on goblins, then go to 30 mage, go to monk of zammy at Varrock castle.
At 45 mage, keep going at the skeletons, You will train it to around 60 mage.
Now time to be boring, start questing, Do all the requirements and quests for desert treasure.
Once completed then you can Ancient Mage! They hold players in places for 10-20 seconds each cast.
Range pures!
Train on goblins till 30, then guards, and then lesser demons. Till 60 range. Now head off to Yaks, Yaks are very good for range, they are low levels, like 19, But very xp good as they have high hp. Train till 80 ranged. You should be level 56 in combat.
Buy a dark bow and head off PKING!
Dark bows hit 2 arrows at once, they have a deadly special!

You can make quite a bit of money in this game PKing at a low level. If you have a "main" account, smith yourself some steel armor, and make your new low level be the appropriate level for it. Buy some steel or mithril swords and PK in the first three levels of the wilderness. You might just get food for awhile (from those you PK) but it is worth while and will make money.

I don't like PKing as it is right now, There are too many pjers, 1 itemers, and cheap moves. I hope jagex makes PvP a little less cheap. In the old wilderness, you could get 1m-3m easily in the old wilderness. Only if jagex wouldn't have taken away it, PKing would be such a success.
