I've been downloading some n64 roms and I've been seeing a lot of .7v files, but my emulator only wants to play .v64 files. What's the deal with .7v? Are they supposed to be played with a standard 64 emulator? I've been using a Mac and haven't been able to find any other compatible 64 emulators that will accept .7v. Do PC emulators accept them?

do you mean .7z 7zip? Its a newish archive format, and yeah it shrinks the N64 GoodSet down from 22GB to like 5GB
