Anyone else get this?

It's a pretty sweet top-down zelda style rpg game, feels very old school SNES. A lot like Lagoon/Soul Blazer/Zelda/Legend of Gaia.

The combat system is really neat with combos and stuff, but the voice acting is REALLY bad (I usually don't have any problems with bad voice acting but this is like... wow bad)

I've only played it for about 2hrs so far because I also got Kessen III and GT4 on the same day and have been devoting more time to them.

Definetly get it if you like these type of games or the old Ys games for the SNES though, its only 39.99

I only know of one cheat. But its a damn good one and makes the game about 8.75% better.

At the new game screen select cheat,

Slash the gems in this order:

Red, blue, yellow, red, blue yellow

Downward thrust the center pedestal,

yellow, yellow, red, red, red, red, blue

Then downward thrust again.

This replaces all the horrendous western voice acting with the Japanese voices. It also gives you the orginal anime cut scene that is present in the PC version. Much better this way in my opinion. I don't speak Japanese myself but I've heard enough of the language to translate all the emotional tones so the voice acting still has a good effect. That said, this game definitely fills an empty void in today's console RPGs. I love it.

I think the PC version is Japanese only for the time being.

Lol I loaded this up today and the hero was a little kid jumping around with a sword
While I love the oldschool turn based graphics, the oldschool button masher just aint for me.
If you like this game then more power to ya but as for me, its going to turn into DMC 3

This game was insanely short, but tons of fun.
