As the title suggests. Which method of payment for trades have you had the most success with?

If possible, list a few reasons on why it worked for you.

Thanks in advance!

Preferred? I'd perfer E-Gold or Western Union or Through Mail as they have no chargebacks. PayPal has chargebacks but preferred payments in PayPal I would take Balance and E-Check payments Claim&Cancel method.

I heard MoneyBookers can chargeback too so I'm not risking. Best would be Through Mail for me. As it takes couple days to a week, I don't mind.

PayPal = Chargebacks - Risking getting scammed.

Make sure the person is Verified via PayPal. Otherwise its a creditcard and might get chargebacked 100% if he tries.
Theres an article, Not by me, But I might get it posted with his permission as long as its by him.

Never used WU. Do you need a creditcard to sign up? Can you add a bank account?

You dont need anything to do it. You go to a Western Union agency, usually at your nearest travel agents and give them X amount of money. You then tell your trader the code to receive the money, they go to their WU agency and give them ID & the code to receive the money. Takes about 30 mins in total, providing you are near enough a computer/phone to give them the code.

Basically its just a money handler that takes a commission of the transfer to make their money.

Not one person has chargebacked on me. About 50+ firecapes done via PayPal, Yeah...Have been told by another firecaper on another forum not to accept it not long ago. Love the people who come to me Very Happy

But I wouldn't use PayPal for anything else other than firecapes, Not risking to sell my account which I probably won't unless some person in real life.

Most likely I'll take thru mail. On Sunday, Some customer on another forum has sent thru mail from SL. USA. I'm in Canada, Hope it comes by tomorrow or Tuesday for a refund. Told him he's risking since I'm leaving, Hopefully my brother ends up returning that.

WU, wire transfer, or by mail only, you never know who you're dealing with at the other end, I won't risk paypal ever to sell an account with.

Well, It depends on what type of thing you wana pay... If it was on sites on this i would tend to use Paypal because its safe and give a 100% money back if a scam

But on sites like runescape I would use phone straight up and saves typing in you're personall deatils when it just adds to youre phone bill i find it easyer that way haha

If at all possible, meet in person and give cash. No one gets screwed over that way. Otherwise, I prefer paypal.

WU or through the mail would be preferred. I've heard to many PayPal horror stories.

Cheers,
