There is no "type" of Linux.. its a matter of which distribution you like. Which comes down to what packages are pre-made for said distribution...

SE linux is the easiest to use and most fully functional linux out there.
http://www.nsa.gov/selinux/
It has the most games, and can even run EQ2 and most other new games on the market.
I prefer it over my favorite operating systems, and suggest it to all novice level linux users in addition to people with no linux experience at all. it's easier to install and get running than winxp is, and runs faster too!

Yea I thought about trying the NSA crypto patches and userland shit but then realized "hmm it is the NSA" even though I could review the source code, do I *really* want to do that? I just use the Openwall patches for when I want additional security =)
