i figure if it's possible for people to play those pieces on the piano, it should be possible for them to play it only having to hit 1/8th (or less) the number of notes. only 8 buttons on machine.
looked hard as hell but something i would really enjoy!

That game is Beat Mania and its exceedingly fun =P That's also about average speed heh.
It's like DDR (it's a rythm game) except you don't have to look gay.

jesus tapdancing christ thats fast. hand eye coordination is very good...but then again fast games tend to have that effect on people. and if the person in question (male/female?) does not own that machine then the person who does has very heavy pockets.

Though it looked like he was doing really well, he was missing a lot of them. It has very little to do with hand/eye coordination, more with memorization.
If you play it on a slower mode enough times, you'll be able to memorize the song and when it speeds up, all you gotta do is mash em faster and keep your rythm.
