Ya my friend who is half korean went there to visit his family. He saw all kinds of SC tv shows and shit. He said people sure love their SC and WC over there.
This is also the same friend who plays WC3 FT religiously.

...and hacks. After a while they are easy enough to beat. They use the same tactics everytime + the threat of a drop in your base. As long as you can stay up with a fast paced game you can own them all.
btw, that was a really terrible match.

I used to play a whole lot, but recently the campus connection makes logging onto SC a real hassel. I've probably played 5-10 times in the past 3 months. I actually stay away from computer games in general now. I played B.net west. Same with Merican, and Desaitar and others. ( mostly in the past )
I couldn't believe how bad that opponent was ( the one who lost ). With any skill he could have built some defense building when he saw the attack comming to his expansion, beat all of the marines and the fleet of SCVs. It would have been easy pickings as the guy who won had no way to build anymore without workers.
Edit: Go, go marine zerg. ( Merican knows wtf I'm talking about )

He got screwed because he expoed without scouting the terrans scv scout. either way, SCV's can kill lings without marine help anyway.
