Who else is gonna be playing it? I pre-ordered it awhile ago so I could get the DVD. Xenosaga Episode I is by far one of my fave RPG's of all time (Although it took me 3 tries to get into it) and I damn sure cannot wait for part II;

If you liked Xenosaga, you might want to try to find a copy of Xenogears for PSX. It was the origional saga is "supposed" to be based upon, and a better game in my opinion. Infact, Xenogears is my favorite console RPG to date.

Overall I rank Xenogears slightly higher than Xenosaga. I know that each of you have the same dislike for disc 2, but I won't let that ruin the entire game. Both of them had one hell of a story that, if you were able to grasp it all, was better than any movie or book that I've experienced.
Xenogears had more comedic moments(MEN OF THE SEA), and that was somewhat a factor. I also prefer the hand drawn sequences as opposed to 3D modeling. I think Xenogears had a better soundtrack, less complicated leveling points(see: tech, skill, and ether points of Xenosaga).
Xenosaga without a doubt had the best ending though.

I also liked the music better in Xenosaga. The final battle with Albedo is by far my favorite track in the game

If you like the subpar story, it might be worthwhile to just skip the subpar game and wait for the movie DVD that will come out with Episode III!

Not only does XS:I still suck in movie form, it sucks even when it's subbed with Japanese VOs.

The ending ruled. It will probably make you say "oh shit". I sure did when I looked up a history of one of the words used in it. Someone with a higher Christian background would probably get it sooner.
There were some hard as shit boss fights in it, but usually what came afterwards was worth the effort.
Also, the sequence you saw with Jin and Margulis is not the best in the game = )
